MEET JOHNNY G
Since graduating from York University with a Bachelor of Arts in Music, I’ve spent the last 20 years teaching beginner, intermediate and advanced guitar in the Toronto area. As an educator, I am thrilled about the various styles of music and songs students are eager to learn and cater lesson plans around their interests. While my primary teaching focus is on the guitar, I also offer lessons on mandolin, lap steel, ukulele, and banjo.
As a multi-instrumentalist, I’ve been fortunate to play major festivals and intimate events with Whoa Nelly! Vera & Johnny (Rockabilly, Roots) The Cliff Divers (Surf) GT Harris (Country) and The Jerimiahs (Folk, Roots) Now and again they even play our music on the radio!
I am now able to teach online using skype or zoom, as well as lend my skills to your recording project from my home studio.
Please don’t hesitate to contact me to discuss your needs.
